We hand select only full-grain leather, the outermost layer of the hide. Also known as top-grain, it is the strongest most flexible and accommodating to staining or coloring, not to mention the most beautiful of all leathers.
  
  Our leather bags are crafted from only the finest raw materials. Vegetable tanning is our choice method. Vegetable tanning will allow the leather to breathe. This method will promote a more desirable finished product, which will resist premature wear and cracking. The tanning process cleans the hide of fat particles and other impurities as well as conditions the leather. Proper tanning will enrich the beauty and greatly increase the quality of the leather.

• Quality Construction - The construction of our handbags is smooth and strong. The seams, bindings, and lined straps are substantial enough to support the weight of the bag when full. The handbag is manufactured to meet high quality control standards.

• Quality Stitching - We take great care when stitching our products. Our stitching is small, straight, and the corners are crisp. The stitching is even with sharply turned corners. Extra heavy top stitches hold one compartment securely to the next.

• Quality Lining - We line our handbags with supple leather or tightly woven fine fabrics such as 100% cotton or a choice silk material, perfectly fit with no wrinkles or pulls. Inside edges are turned under, small stitches are then applied for strength and detail.
  
  

• Quality Hardware - We nickel plate our brass zippers to prevent tarnishbuild-up.Multiple dip plating is best - up to three dips depending on the size of the handbag. Our zippers run smoothly, and like all our hardware, are suited to the weight of the bag.

• Quality Edging - Our edges are bound or piped on the sides of the straps, flaps, and zipper. We never expose raw edges, as they will wear poorly.
